The Temperature sensor for your processor is preventing damage to your Processor because the fan are not being able to cool it down properly. so put your old P4 back in and make sure your bios is updated. I then installed the lastest BIOS to 2.00 then replaced CPU to the new 1 but again black screen.

What did you do? Put them back in and no monitor shows, just the test screen that says it is working properly. Reviews are there to tell you what faults this motherboard might have during use. I tried doing all the fixes that are listed somewhere here on the site for such problem such as resetting CMOS, updating bios etc yet still nothing. Do I need to buy a new CD? This means the cpu is bad?
I have been recently upgrading my e machines W3629 computer. I have 2 hdds and one of them is 700GB and has all the info I need. At this point, am I waiting for beep again? The only incompatibility I may imagine is that my old power supply has an ATX 20-pin power cord to the motherboard whereas the new motherboard has an ATX 24-pin connector. The Eraser trick got everything to fire up, but it still hung at the countdown page.
