I removed v8 (LIVE Messenger) and installed the older 7.5 and bingo- problem solved. Several functions may not work. This won't remove Windows Messenger, so features like Remote Assistance, Whiteboard and Application Sharing will continue to work, but it will let it stay out of your way.Also, do you have Kirsa the code it works perfect.

kelly i cant get my msn messenger to uninstall! Got error code 80040154, I went to microsoft support site and followed instructions, still won't work. Let us keep it simple.
Sheila I am currently running Windows 98 and on dial up …11.4 GB free and 256 MB…Version 7 on msn…QUESTION…does any one know why MSN is freezing when more than once So removed it, found the downloads for previous versions, however when I run a previous version I'm required to update to Windows Live. I had problems with WLM and so i uninstalled it... Windows Live Messenger replaces MSN Messenger.

Pathetic - it's the perfect word. Error 80040111 or 80040154: You can't sign in to Windows Live Messenger You may not be able to sign in to Windows Live Messenger because of a problem with your DLL Now knowing what it is, I'm afraid to just remove it. it tells me on one that i am not connected to the internet but i know i am and the other says error 80072ee7.
